Class of 2022

Kindergarten graduation = a lot of chaos with cake afterward. : )

Actually, the kids puts on a very nice program, with songs you could actually hear and understand. The program was fine. The chaos happened when about 1000 family members who wanted to see the event arrived to find only 250 chairs set up. We sat on the floor.

My favorite kindergarten boy has had a great school year learning to read, write, add, subtract, and so much more. He looks happy!

His kindergarten tassel says 2010,
but we figured out he will be in the High School class of 2022.
Wow! That seems amazing!

Part III

After Disney, I had a chance to spend a few days in Georgia with this cute family.

One day we went to a state park which has a nice lake and green, shady walking paths.

This shows how beautiful and green Georgia is this time of year.
We found some baby geese and lots of blue and yellow butterflies.

After walking, it was time for a dip in the lake.

First Claire put a toe in to try it out. Then she decided to see how deep the lake was . . . getting completely soaked. She loves the water.

Back home again, it was time for some Wii.
I have figured out that people like to play Wii with me because I always lose. It's a great confidence builder.

At mealtime, this is the sign for "I would like some more of that delicious food, please" - for those who aren't quite verbal yet.

Claire has Suzy's big blue eyes.

Fun times!

Disney II

Claire decided that her Mom and Dad needed to go to DisneyWorld. She wanted to try rides like Finding Nemo, Small World and Jungle Cruise, but wasn't sure she was ready for the challenge of Space Mountain just yet, so she asked Yaya and Pampa to come along.

We did the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood, all in 3 days. Fun times!

Posing in front of the castle.

We ran into some characters.

The People Mover, Disney Train, and Animal Kingdom Safari were some of Claire's favorites.

I went on the Tower of Terror ride, but someone in this photo would not try it.
(Hint: This someone was NOT wearing a blue shirt.)

Claire loved the swimming pool at the hotel. She's a natural water baby.

After a long and grueling day at Disney, it's hard to keep your eyes open.

Good night!

Disney Part I

We had a great time at DisneyWorld. It was 3 non-stop days of fun! We did everything from Space Mountain to Finding Nemo, which was Claire's favorite. Now I'm continuing on with the fun at Suzy's for a few more days. Georgia is so nice this time of year, very pretty and green. Pictures of all this fun will have to wait until I can download them from the camera.
